Snow Day

A few inches of snow fell today - of course I had to stay home. I took a few snow pictures because it hardly ever snows here anymore. My cat is trying to be brave and walk through the snow - he didn't stay out long.

I put some arms on the armless, headless body parts and put bird heads on them to see how they would look. My husband and I have an art project started that will transform wooden shoes into bumper cars. I found some of my broken doll parts to put in the cars. It was a fun day off!

The cross

We received a metal cross from World Market for Christmas. It was just begging me to alter it today - so I glued hundreds of polymer clay heads on it. I made the heads a while ago intending to use them in an art project that just never came together. I have a nice blister on my palm where a glob of hot glue landed by mistake.

Had I been paying attention I could have told you how many heads were used. I know I went through at least 8 hot glue sticks. I already have it hanging on the wall. This was a fun, quick project if you have hundreds of polymer clay heads already made and baked.

More Angels

I took my alphabet angles for show and tell. Everyone loved them and encouraged me to keep making them. I even sold my first doll! Amazing.
