Heart Fat Book

I saw my first Fat Book at the Art and Soul Retreat in Hampton, VA. My roommate from Hampton is hosting a Fat Book swap for the Portland Art and Soul. The theme for the book is Heart. Even though I am not going to the Portland Art and Soul I am able to participate in the swap. I made 34 pages all originals. I started by cutting watercolor paper into 4x4 squares, I glued some red tissue paper on the front and back then added some paint, stickers, fabric, ribbon, buttons and a heart suspended with fiber. This is my first Fat Book swap - I'm really looking forward to seeing the completed book.

Manikin Hand

I needed a way to display my beaded keychains. My husband came home with an old 50's manikin hand that worked just perfectly. However, the store where I sell my cards and keychains thought the hand was too funky for them so they gave it back to me. I was glad because I wanted it for myself.
